The Natural Products Association has relocated its offices to a new spot with a view of the U.S. Capitol.
The association announced Tuesday it has moved to 440 1st St. NW in Washington, D.C., which puts it within walking distance of the Capitol. NPA had previously been located at 1773 T St. NW, a few blocks north of the Dupont Circle Metro station.
"The new location is something that has been a long time coming," NPA CEO Daniel Fabricant said. "We are excited to be closer to Capitol Hill and have members of Congress visit the office with a short walk instead of giving them a bus pass."
NPA's new headquarters takes up 5,000 square feet of the fifth floor of a 10-story office building on the site. A rooftop terrace provides a view of the nearby Capitol.
The association said strong membership growth made the move possible, though NPA did not reveal the length of the lease or how much it is paying for the space.
